About the show
The podium at the sports field is not just a place where Mārtiņš, Marta, and Māris talk. Here, they play out their growing family problems, tease others, and imagine themselves in their ideal future lives. Here, they can say and feel anything because they know it will stay between them. Here, they also allow themselves to do absolutely nothing. Often, they ponder about their beloved podium. What does it take to win first place in life?
The play "At Least 3rd Place" is intended for anyone who has ever felt the desire to win a gold medal, to fit in, and to be good enough in the eyes of others. Those around us influence us, give advice, but sometimes the moment comes when you have to figure out what you truly want.
We also invite you to stay after the performance for a discussion led by playwright Anna Belkovska, where together with the audience, especially teenagers, we will talk about the relevance of the play's themes in young people's lives.
The play is suitable for teenagers aged 14 and up.
The performance contains uncensored language.
