The play is based on the stories of Jānis Joņevs and Anete Konste, where the main characters (people and animals) are involved in great diversity of relationship, interdependencies and passions. Wittily illuminating the many edges of the coexistence of human and animal. The beast in human and human in the beast – do we really know where one starts and the other one ends?
“For a long time, I thought that animals are nothing more than mechanisms, who are made by the unmistakable hand of Providence to do everything necessary for theirs and their descendants survival, but recently, when I saw the taught pig that was shown in London, my confidence was shaken, and now I do not know what to think.”
